An established medium sized financial services business offering tailor made solutions and a full suite of services to their clients, and as a result of their solid financial performance and outstanding customer satisfaction rating is actively looking to broaden their customer and revenue base.
Role and Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities:
Manage a team of 5 accountants.
Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, focusing on key performance indicators to produce a timely and accurate view of performance.
Manage the daily P&L reporting.
Provide insightful analysis of the businesses products by providing financial advice and commercial acumen.
Provide advice and support to the business on accounting policies with regards to new products and initaitives.
Qualifications:
University Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
CA/CPA
Up to 7 years financial and management reporting in financial services – ideally retail products.
Ability to lead and manage staff
Strong planning and organisational skills.
